Well I think it just about time to do an other sew along. This sew along is fat quarter friendly and does not have many seams to match up so I would rate it beginer friendly. The finished size is 41″ x 53″.
I’m going to release the fabric requirements at the beginning of February and we will start on the Wednesday after Valentines day February 22/2017 this will give everyone 3 weeks to get your materials. The sew along will take five weeks to complete the quilt top. You will get the last part at the end of march to give you time to complete it for Easter.
Where did I get the idea for this one? I love taking things I have on hand and seeing what can be made with it.
It all started with mom starting to want to destash so when I visited last week she gave me a small fat quarter bundle. So my wheels started spinning. what to do. the materials are all spring flowers so I thought it would be great for a spring baby size quilt. Well that’s all the fabric I had so baby size it is. I only added a couple other fabrics to tie it all together.

The sew along sounds fabulous. I love to sew and quilt. My grandmother taught me to sew when in junior high school. I rarely had ” store bought ” clothes growing up. But it was only after I had grandchildren that I began sewing again. Now 30 years later I only enjoy quilting. I am not good at choosing fabrics and patterns.
