I just could not pass up making a spring table runner from a charm pack that contained 26 charms. The charm pack that I used is called, Flower Mart 2 Romantic by Bernartex. I was able to find a coordinating yellow to frame my blocks and make the stars. 
I would concider this a not brainer project…This was a pretty simple runner to make. I laided out the charm squares into 3 batches of 8 charms to make the 3 blocks. the center of the star is made with a 5″ square of the coordinating yellow fabric. The star points were made using 2 1/2″ squares and snowballing the side charm pieces. I think if I was to do this again I would make my squares to be 3″ so that the points in the middle would touch call this a lesson learned on my part. The blocks are separated with a 2 1/2″ sashing. Then I framed the whole 3 blocks with 2 1/2″ strips.
So far today I was able to get the top done and sandwiched. I just have to see if this runner will talk to me as to how it wants me to quilt it. Chances are I will wake up in the morning and it will have come to me during the night. This is usually how my quilting comes to me. When I have it all finished I will post it as the feature picture for this blog post.
