2016 Christmas Sew Along…

Id like to do a sew along of a Christmas lap quilt…     This is the quilt I have in mind. It was designed on my Eq7 program.  I’m planning on having all the steps completed by the end of November 2016 so that you will have time to get it quilted for Christmas.  I will release the steps as I make mine starting October 26 with cutting directions  and releasing a step  every Wednesday  mornings until November 30 2016.

 The size of the quilt will be 56″ x 86″ when finished.

 Materials Required:

To make things easier I’m going to number each Fabric as we will all be using the same numbers but different fabrics.  The Yardage of fabric that you will need for this quilt top is:

1. Black               1 1/2 yard

2. Red                  1 yard

3. White              1 1/8 yard

4. Green             1 yard

5. 2nd focal        1/2 yard

6. Main focal      1 yard

 

I’m releasing this now so that you have time to go and get your fabrics.  All the posts will be released on here then shared to my Facebook Page Renee Chester Quilt Designs so that if you wish we can all share our progress in the comments of each post.

I will be making mine in different colors, These are the colors I will be using. 

You are all welcome to use any color combination that you wish to use.  For me that’s the fun part about designing patterns is seeing what others do with them.
